I just built a new PC and everything seems to be set up correctly—got Windows 10 installed, updated the BIOS, and installed the GPU drivers. However, I'm running into a problem where my monitors aren't displaying anything via DisplayPort cables, although the HDMI connection works just fine.
These monitors and cables had no issues with DisplayPort on my old setup. I've checked the BIOS settings related to display configurations, but that didn't help. I even tried a different PCIe slot, and that didn't solve the problem either.
I'm now wondering if the issue could be related to the DisplayPort cables that I have since they're older. I did read somewhere that GPUs are usually backwards compatible with different DisplayPort versions, but I still ordered some new cables just in case. I really hope my new GPU isn't malfunctioning!

Have you made sure to install the AMD graphics drivers? Sometimes, DisplayPort won’t work until the correct drivers are set up. It's an easy fix if you haven't done that yet.
Just to clarify, all DisplayPort cables are supposed to be compatible with any DisplayPort device, regardless of their version. Since you mentioned using DP adapters, can you tell us which ones you're using and the reason for using them? That might help troubleshoot further.
