Why won’t my games launch after upgrading to a Ryzen 9 7900 CPU?

I recently upgraded to a Ryzen 9 7900 CPU and started experiencing issues where many of my games won't launch. I initially thought my old cooler was causing the problem, so I installed a new one, but the issue persists. Lower spec games like '7 Days to Die' run fine, but newer titles crash during loading. For example, 'Deadzone Rogue' lets me pick my difficulty but doesn't proceed, and 'The Finals' gets stuck on precompiling shaders. The CPU temperatures are around 80°C, and when they hit that point, the CPU usage drops, causing the games to stop loading without actually crashing. Task manager is unable to close these stuck games either.

Have you tried reinstalling your chipset drivers? Sometimes a fresh install can help resolve conflicts caused by upgrading your CPU.

I did reinstall both the problematic games and the drivers, but it didn't help.
