Why Won’t My Intel Arc A770 GPU Work in This Build?

Hey everyone! I'm helping my friend build a PC and we've chosen to go with an Intel GPU—the Arc A770—but it just won't run in his setup. He's using an i5 14th gen processor that doesn't have integrated graphics, which is making things pretty frustrating. I tested the GPU in my own system, which has an i9 14th gen with integrated graphics, and it worked fine. I installed the OS (Windows 11) on an SSD and everything, using an HDMI to connect it. Both systems are on a Gigabyte Z390 Eagle AX motherboard, and the GPU works in my build but not in his. The GPU light on the motherboard is on, but I'm stuck on what to try next. Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Have you checked if both motherboards are on the same BIOS version? That might be the issue!

Yep! They're both up to date. I updated both recently around the end of May.

You've got an Alchemist GPU, so odd behavior is kind of expected with those!
