Why Won’t My Motherboard Fit in My Case?

I'm building my first PC, but I'm having trouble because my motherboard doesn't seem to fit in my case. I used PCPartPicker and it said everything was compatible, but now I'm not so sure. Here are the details:
- Motherboard: ASUS TUF B850-E Wifi
- Case: NZXT H3 Flow MicroATX Mid Tower Case.

Is there something I'm missing, or is this just not going to work?

I checked it out too, and I think there’s a mix-up. First of all, the board you're talking about might not even exist under that exact name. There might be models like the Asus ROG STRIX B850-E or TUF B650-E, but they won't fit in your case either. The key is that 'M' for MicroATX in the model number is important!

That's weird because the manual says TUF Gaming B850-E WIFI. Is it possible that I got a misprint or a counterfeit?

Totally agree with the last response. The NZXT H3 Flow MicroATX is designed for MicroATX boards, and the ASUS TUF B850-E Wifi is an ATX motherboard. You actually need the ASUS TUF B850M-E, which is the MicroATX version. It's easy to mix those up!

You're definitely not alone in this! Your motherboard is a standard ATX size, while your case supports only MicroATX boards. That's why it's too big to fit! Just a heads up for the future, make sure to double-check the form factor when you choose components.

Yeah, I get it now. It's just frustrating that the compatibility checker didn’t warn me about it. Do you think this case would work instead? [link]
