Why won’t my new PC boot into Windows after BIOS?

I recently built a new PC with a Ryzen 7 9800 and a 5070 GPU. After going through the BIOS and saving changes, the system shows a red light for the CPU and an orange light for the RAM, which eventually go off. The boot light is green, but then it just sends me back to the BIOS. I'm looking for any tips on how to resolve this and get Windows to show up after the BIOS.

It sounds like you might need to install Windows again. If your hard drive is connected but nothing shows up, try reinstalling Windows directly to that drive. Just make sure it's detected by the BIOS first!

Have you installed Windows on the hard drive yet? If not, that could be the issue. Make sure your hard drive has Windows installed on it before trying to boot from it.

I had a similar issue with my new build. Double-check that your hard drive is recognized in the BIOS. If it is, but you're still getting sent back, it might be worth redoing the installation from a USB drive.
