Why won’t my new RAM work with my PC?

I'm trying to upgrade my PC's RAM with some new RGB Corsair 2x16 GB 6000MHz sticks, but now it won't post at all. I'm using a PRIME B760M-A AX motherboard, and I'm wondering if I installed it incorrectly or if the RAM isn't compatible with my setup. Any advice?

First things first, try removing the CMOS battery for a bit and then reinserting it. Also, make sure the RAM sticks are in slots 2 and 4, as those are usually the best for dual-channel configuration. That could help with your posting issue!

If you've already tried the battery method and you're still having issues, booting into BIOS and seeing the RAM at 4800MHz is a sign it might be running at a default speed. You can manually adjust it to 6000MHz in BIOS if it allows. Just make sure to save the changes before exiting!
