Why won’t my PC boot after upgrading to a new graphics card?

Hey everyone, I just upgraded my graphics card from an RTX 3060 to a 5070 and followed all the right steps. I installed the newest driver before swapping cards, and physically installing it went smoothly. However, when I boot up my PC, I get no display and the motherboard shows a white and green LED, which indicates a graphics card issue. I've checked the compatibility, made sure I have an 850W PSU which should be fine, verified the RAM is correctly seated, reset the CMOS twice, and even tested my old 3060, which works perfectly. I'm running out of ideas and could use your help to figure out what might be causing this issue and how I can fix it!

Have you tried using DDU to uninstall the old drivers before installing the new GPU drivers? Sometimes residual old drivers can cause conflicts and prevent the new hardware from working properly.

First off, make sure you plugged the display cable into the new GPU instead of the motherboard. It sounds basic, but it's easy to overlook!
