Why won’t my PC start after adding RAM to the B1 slot?

Hey everyone, I'm running into an issue where my PC doesn't boot when I add a RAM module to the B1 slot. Currently, I have RAM installed in both A1 and B1 slots, and I've tried various things like disabling XMP and adjusting the frequency. When I plug another RAM stick into B1, the PC fails to display anything and the CPU LED on my motherboard stays lit. Any ideas on what could be going wrong? Thanks!

First thing you should do is check out your motherboard's user manual. It will have specific instructions on how to properly install RAM modules, including the correct slot order. Following those guidelines can sometimes solve the problem right away.

It sounds like you might have a compatibility issue or a faulty RAM stick. I had a similar problem when adding a second stick that wasn't fully compatible with the first. Try testing the new RAM stick by itself in A1 to see if it works alone.
