I recently upgraded my PC case to fit a new graphics card, and everything was working fine until I decided to install new fans since the old ones were too small. After putting in the new fans, my CPU won't turn on. I found that one of the fan's wires was pressed against the casing, so I fixed that, but now it's completely unresponsive. I've unplugged all the fans and tried everything, but there's absolutely no power—no lights, no sounds, nothing at all! I'm super frustrated because I need to get my PC running to play games and learn office tools for work. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong?

Are you sure everything is plugged in properly? If a wire was too tight, it could have come loose. Also, remember that the wire doesn’t need to 'breathe'—if it was pinched, it should just sit without pressure. And just to check, is your power supply working? Have you tried using a different power cord or outlet?
Just a heads up, if you’re using profanity, it doesn’t need to be capitalized! But on a serious note, did you remember to reinstall any parts after working on your board? Installing new fans shouldn’t stop it from booting up unless something else got disconnected accidentally.
I didn't replace the old fans, just added three new ones—two at the top and one at the back. I don’t think I missed anything else.
It sounds like a loose connection might be the issue. Double-check the power plug from the wall to the power supply and make sure all the cables from the power supply to the motherboard are securely connected. Sometimes a cable can wiggle loose during upgrades.
I’ve checked everything and even unplugged and re-plugged some of the cables, but I’m still getting nothing.

Yes, everything seems to be connected, but I haven’t tried a different outlet yet. Maybe I should give that a shot.
