I've been having trouble with my phone's USB-C port not supporting headphones. I initially thought it was just dirty, so I cleaned it thoroughly. My charger works fine, but the headphones still don't connect. I looked up some potential fixes, like toggling developer options and turning off USB auto routing, but those didn't help either. I also tried adjusting the USB configuration, but it didn't resolve the issue. Someone suggested that resetting my phone might fix things, but whenever I restart, the settings revert back. My brother even told me to use the OTG setting, but I'm pretty sure that setting doesn't exist on my device. I really need a solution since I can't afford wireless headphones and prefer wired ones for their practicality and style. Any tips would be much appreciated!

Could you tell me the make and model of your device? It's essential to know that to help troubleshoot effectively. Also, does your phone have a 3.5mm audio jack, or is it all USB-C?

My phone is a Huawei P30 Pro, and it only has the USB-C port – no audio jack. The headphones I'm using are MIXX SoundPort C.
