Why won’t my Windows 11 laptop detect headphones after sleep?

I'm having an issue with my Windows 11 laptop where it stops detecting my wired headphones after I close the lid or put the device to sleep. The only way to get the headphones to work again is by restarting or powering off the laptop. The speakers on the laptop are functioning normally when the headphones are not plugged in. I've tried reinstalling and updating the audio drivers, but the problem still hasn't been resolved. This used to work perfectly fine, so I'm wondering if anyone knows what might be causing this or how to fix it?

Have you tried looking in the Device Manager? Sometimes there's a Power Management setting for the audio drivers that could be affecting their ability to recognize the headphones after sleep.

I checked and there wasn't any Power Management option available for the audio drivers.
