Why won’t my Windows reactivate after a restore point?

I was trying out some games yesterday, and one of them installed outdated drivers which ended up messing with my hard drive. To fix it, I restored my computer to a previous point, and that got rid of the game and the bad drivers. After that, I restarted my computer a few times to ensure everything was working well. It looked good, so I updated Windows and shut it down.

However, when I turned my computer on today, I found out that Windows is no longer activated. I tried to use my backup key to reactivate it, but it says it can't connect, claiming I'm not on my organization's network, even though this is my personal computer. I also ran a VBS script to check my key, but it said the key was invalid. I checked if it was registered under my Microsoft account, but that didn't help either.

It sounds like you're encountering a known issue with Windows 11 and the 24H2 update, which occasionally deactivates genuine OEM keys. I recommend you open Command Prompt or PowerShell as an admin and run `slmgr.vbs /dlv`. This command will give you detailed info about your activation status. What result do you see when you do that?

I ran the command, and it gave me a prompt, but I closed it and restarted my computer. Nothing changed after that.
