Why Won’t Windows 11 Recognize My HDD?

Hi everyone, I've run into a new problem with my computer. After resolving a previous issue, my setup refuses to recognize my HDD. My SSD is working perfectly, but since my HDD has much more storage, I'd really like to get it up and running. I tried connecting it to a different SATA port, but that didn't help. While it's not the end of the world for my computer upgrade, it's pretty frustrating to still have this issue after all my work. Any ideas on what I can do?

Make sure you’re also checking your data cables. Sometimes, a loose connection can cause the drive to not get detected by Windows. It's worth the hassle to double-check those connections. If everything looks fine, consider checking for any disk management options in Windows to see if the drive needs to be initialized or formatted.

If you're using an M.2 drive, check your motherboard manual as some SATA ports might be disabled when it's installed. If it’s not an M.2, then the HDD should normally be detected in the BIOS unless there's a drive failure, a power/data cable issue, or a problem with the SATA port on the motherboard.

I checked the BIOS, and it does show up there. But when I try to access it in Windows, it’s like it's invisible. What do you make of that?
