I'm looking to build a futureproof desktop and I want to know if a 5070 Ti paired with an AMD 9800 will be enough to run Death Stranding 2 and GTA 6 on ultra settings at 1440p once they're released. I know this is a bit speculative, but I'm interested to hear thoughts from anyone who has insight. Thanks!

For Death Stranding 2, you should be in good shape. It's pretty well-optimized and runs smoothly even on lower-end systems like the PS5, which has a GPU that's way less powerful than a 5070 Ti. As for GTA 6, while the 5070 Ti will likely handle it well, keep in mind that Rockstar tends to push the boundaries with their PC settings, aiming for future hardware. So, 'ultra' might mean something different compared to what we see now. Overall, I think you'll be fine, but there's always that chance GTA 6 could have some demanding features.
What about something like a 4060? Would that also do the job?
I agree with TechWhiz88. The 5070 Ti should handle both games really well. Hopefully, it can keep up even if GTA 6 has some heavy graphical settings—like path tracing—on launch day. Just be ready for possibly dialing back some settings here and there if they go all out on the graphics!
