Will BCC Recipients Know They Were BCC’d in an Email?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to organize an event and I want to reach out to several venues to see if they can host. My main question is: when I send an email with multiple recipients in the BCC field, will those recipients know they've been BCC'd? Like, will they realize they're just one of many? I want to avoid any awkwardness since I'm just exploring options. Also, should I place one recipient in the 'To:' field and put the rest in BCC, or just keep everyone in BCC? I'd appreciate your thoughts!

Most people won’t even notice if they get a BCC email since they’re usually too busy to check. So, if you BCC them, they probably won't care or realize it. Just keep it simple!

As long as you have some addresses in the 'To:' field, most folks won’t pay attention to if they’re BCC'd or not. Also, using BCC avoids that annoying 'reply all' chaos. It’s a smart move!

That makes sense! I just wanted to make it easier for myself without turning it into a whole thing. Thanks!

It's a good idea to put at least one email in the 'To:' field. Otherwise, if it's blank, it might trigger spam filters. And yeah, being in BCC usually means others won't see their email; if they don't look closely, they won't mind!
