Will DDR4 RAM Hold Back an RTX 5060 Ti?

Hey everyone! I'm considering an upgrade to an RTX 5060 Ti, but I've been reading mixed opinions on whether my DDR4 RAM might bottleneck its performance. Some sources claim that new-gen GPUs are designed for DDR5, and I'm worried if this might lead to any visible issues. Has anyone experienced this? Is DDR4 really going to limit my GPU's capabilities?

Honestly, I don’t think RAM will hold you back that much. The main concern would be if you’re using a PCIe 3.0 slot or if you hit the VRAM limit on 8GB or 16GB models.

System RAM isn't really going to affect your GPU performance unless it's low enough to prevent you from running your games smoothly. The 5060 Ti is made to work with a variety of setups, no specific memory necessary.

Totally agree! VRAM is the real deal when it comes to graphics performance; DDR4 shouldn't hold you back at all.

Nah, it’s not an issue. I’m running a pretty fast 9070 XT with DDR4 and have had zero problems. Just focus on how you set up your system overall, and you'll be fine!
