Will my 650W power supply handle an RTX 5050 upgrade?

I'm considering upgrading my graphics card to an RTX 5050, but I'm unsure if my CORSAIR CV650 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified power supply can support it. Right now, I have an RX 580 and an i7-10700k CPU, and I admit I'm not very knowledgeable about PC hardware. Any advice would be appreciated!

Your 650W power supply should be fine for any graphics card in the 60 series or lower. The RTX 5060 should work without an issue, as a similar setup has been running well on a 650W PSU.

I had a prebuilt with a 4060 Ti and it ran on a 650W PSU. From what I can see, the 5060 Ti doesn't draw much more power than the previous models, so you should be fine!

You should avoid the RTX 5050. Instead, consider something like the RTX 5060. Your PSU is decent enough for cards up to the 60 series, so you should be good there.
