I've been trying to find solid information about my Epyc Nytro UPS (1500VA, 900W) and I'm hitting a dead end. Here's my scenario: when there's a blackout, the UPS kicks in and starts powering my devices. But if the blackout lasts for an extended period, say 6 hours, and the UPS battery drains completely, will it automatically turn back on when the power returns? The manual mentions 'Auto-Restart YES,' so I'm assuming it should, but I'd appreciate some confirmation. Thanks a lot!

Based on my experience, if your UPS has an auto-restart feature, it should definitely turn back on once the power is restored, just like other models I’ve used. That’s how they typically function with that specification. However, it's always good to double-check your manual to be sure there aren’t any exceptions specific to your model.
Thanks for the info! It's good to hear that you had a more positive experience. I’ll definitely keep an eye on mine!

I had a different model and it didn’t restart by itself, which was frustrating. Make sure to follow up on that!
