I'm curious if my gaming setup, which includes a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, an RTX 5070, and an ASUS ROG Strix B650-A motherboard, can achieve over 100 frames per second in most modern games. What do you think?

You’ve got a solid CPU, but the GPU might be holding you back a bit. It could be worth investing a little more into the GPU for better performance. I currently run a 9600X with an RTX 5080 and can manage over 140 FPS at 1440p ultrawide!

What resolution are you aiming for? That can really change things.

It really depends on the game and your chosen resolution and settings. Different games have different performance profiles. A good tip is to check out some YouTube reviews for benchmarks that are similar to your setup.

Yeah, it should definitely hit 100 FPS at 1080p without issues. When you bump up to 1440p, you might need to lower some settings or use upscaling, but it shouldn't be a huge problem. Just keep in mind that the RTX 5070 comes with 12GB of VRAM, so that could affect performance depending on the game.

Don't forget to consider what games you're planning to play! Some titles are more demanding than others, and that can hugely impact your FPS.
