So, I had a bit of a personal emergency and ended up leaving my phone in a small bag on my car's console for about three hours on a really hot day. When I realized what happened, the phone was super hot, but it was still functioning. I quickly turned it off and moved it to the coolest room in my house, plus I set a fan on it to help it cool down. I'm worried about potential damage—will my phone be alright? I didn't notice any burns on the screen, just that it was extremely hot.

I've left my iPhone in similar situations a few times. As long as it was still running, you should be good. If it gets too hot, it usually shows a warning screen and shuts down. Since you have a Samsung, it might react differently, but you'll probably be okay.
Chances are, your phone will be fine! From what I’ve read, temperatures above 95 degrees can damage phone batteries, but a few hours in the heat shouldn’t cause serious harm, especially if there's no visible damage.
I’m planning to turn it on later to check if everything’s okay.
If it didn’t shut off by itself, you’re probably in the clear! Just keep an eye out for signs like a swollen battery or slow charging.
LOL! Did you mean the dashboard when you said "cars counter"? That's the only thing I can think of!
Haha yeah, sorry! English isn’t my first language.
Your phone should be alright! Modern devices are designed to handle extreme temperatures. There's even a heat warning system in place for situations like this.
It did warn me that an app shut down because it was overheating, so I hope that’s a good sign!
