I wanted to upgrade to Windows 11, but I discovered that my Ryzen 5 5600XT isn't listed as compatible on the official Microsoft page. Given this situation, do you think it will ever be supported, or should I consider buying a new processor instead?

There are definitely ways to get it working. Just make sure your BIOS is updated, and that you’ve set the right settings for Secure Boot and TPM, since those are requirements for Windows 11. I managed to get mine updated after a bit of tweaking!
From what I've heard, the Ryzen 5 5600XT should work with Windows 11, even if it’s not on the official list. The list hasn’t been updated in a while, so don’t let that discourage you! You might run into issues during installation though. If the Windows updater isn't cooperating, consider a fresh install instead!
Yeah, the list is outdated. It doesn’t even include newer AMD CPUs like the Zen 5. You should be fine!
I’ve got two systems running the 5600X, and both upgraded to Windows 11 with zero issues. If you're on a Ryzen processor from that generation, you should be just fine!
Good to hear! I’ll give it a shot. Thanks!
A lot of compatibility issues often stem from BIOS settings and Secure Boot. I recommend checking those. Once they’re enabled, upgrading should go smoothly!
I also had the 5600 CPU running on Windows 11 since it launched, so you should definitely be okay!

That's good news! If I run into issues, I’ll try a fresh install. Thanks for the tip!
