Will My Two GPUs Fit on This Motherboard?

Hey everyone! I'm trying to set up a rig with both a NITRO+ AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Vapor-X 24GB and a ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity OC. I found the X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 motherboard which supports PCIe 4 with an x4 speed for the second PCIe slot. I'm planning to install the 7900 XTX on the top slot and the 3090 underneath. Do you think they'll both fit? Also, if you have any suggestions for different motherboards or cases that could accommodate both GPUs, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Using a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot for your second GPU isn't the best option because the performance will be significantly impacted. For multiple GPUs, look for boards that have two PCIe x16 5.0 slots that can run at X8 speed when both are in use. These boards can get pretty pricey though; the Asus ProArt X870E is one example.

As long as it fits, I don't mind spending a bit more. But can you recommend a non-Asus option? I've read that x4 should be enough for a GPU.
