I'm concerned about my laptop's longevity because I've seen it reach temperatures around 80 to 85 degrees Celsius. I know it shuts down automatically to prevent overheating, but I'm wondering if these high temperatures could still affect its performance and lifespan in the long run. What do you think?

Laptops can run hot, especially under load. If it's sitting at 85°C during heavy use, that's not unusual and should be fine as long as airflow isn't blocked. Just keep an eye on it!
It really depends on what you're doing. If you're just browsing or watching videos, that temp is a bit concerning. But if you're gaming or rendering, those temps aren't too bad as long as you monitor it.
But does that mean it won't affect performance later on?
