Hey everyone! I'm curious if the Asus Tuf Gaming B850-Plus WiFi motherboard will be compatible with the AMD 9800X3D processor. I've heard some discussions online about the 9800X3D overheating or having issues with certain motherboards, particularly from ASRock. I'm also planning to pair it with either 16GB or 32GB of Corsair RAM running at 6000 MHz CL30. Any insights or experiences with this setup?

You should be fine with that combo. Most of the issues I've seen are mainly with ASRock boards. We don't really know the exact failure rate, but generally, it looks safer with the Tuf.
I have a similar setup with a B650M-Plus and a 9800X3D, and it's been working great for me! No issues so far. What about you? How's your experience been?
So far, I haven't faced any problems, just want to make sure I’m making a good choice!
I didn't even know there were issues with the 9800X3D! I've been happily running mine with a Gigabyte X870E, and everything's been smooth since February.
I've heard there were some defective batches of the 9800X3D, mainly causing problems on specific boards, but I think your setup will be okay!
