I'm planning to purchase the Montech XR case, but I've heard that the USB-C port only works with a specific adapter on the motherboard. Can anyone confirm if it will fit with the ASUS ROG Strix B550-A Gaming motherboard?

You can easily check compatibility by using pcpartpicker.com and sharing your list with others. It's a great way to make sure everything fits together!
Unfortunately, it won't fit directly. The Montech XR needs an internal USB-C connector, but the ASUS ROG Strix B550-A doesn't come with one. You could use a USB-C to USB 2 adapter, but don't expect high speeds from that setup.
Do you think it's better to look for another case, or should I just get the adapter?
