Hey everyone! First off, I just wanted to say congrats to the whole community—it's great to be part of it! Now, I have a quick question about my current build. I'm running a Ryzen 9 5950X with 128GB of RAM primarily for managing multiple virtual machines. Occasionally, I enjoy playing some classic games like Mafia and Call of Duty, but I'm also looking to get into some new titles since I've got a bit of budget to spend. My question is whether the RX 9070 XT will bottleneck my CPU. Should I consider going for the 9060 XT with 16GB instead? Just to add, my monitor is running at 2K resolution.

Honestly, I think the RX 9070 XT is so powerful that your Ryzen 9 5950X might end up holding it back a bit at 1440p. But honestly, I’d still go for the 9070 XT even if there’s some bottleneck—it’ll give you more GPU power for the future, and the performance upgrade will still be noticeable depending on what you're upgrading from.

That's what I was wondering too! Just how powerful is too powerful for my setup. But I guess going for the 9070 XT will be a good choice since it's what I'll be using for a few gaming sessions throughout the year.
