I'm trying to put together a budget-friendly PC build to play modern games at 1440p and achieve 60fps at least on high settings. Here's the link to my build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fCdKrM. I'm particularly interested in games like Cyberpunk 2077, Space Marine 2, Monster Hunter Worlds, and the upcoming Borderlands 4. I'm also curious whether this setup will be reasonably future-proof.

Your build looks like it should handle 60fps at 1440p quite well for modern games. I’ve been using a 1070 TI and a Ryzen 5 2600 for years, and they still perform reasonably well, except when games require ray tracing predictions.
The graphics card you picked is solid, but just remember that some newer titles may require lowering the settings a bit to hit those 60fps targets. Also, make sure you get an 850-watt PSU because you'll want extra power for upgrades in the future. If you're interested, I can send you a review link for the RX 9060 XT.

The 9060 XT should be fine at high settings for most games, so you’re good there!
