I'm considering a new PC build primarily for gaming, and I want to know if this setup is sufficient for running games smoothly at either 1440p or 1080p on high graphics settings. Here's what I'm planning to use:
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (5.0GHz, 8 Cores, 16 Threads)
- GIGABYTE B650M GAMING PLUS WIFI Micro ATX motherboard
- SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX 9070 XT with 16GB of VRAM
- 32GB BIWIN Black Opal DW100 (2x16GB) DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz
- 1TB Kingston NV3 M.2 SSD with 6000MB/s read and 5000MB/s write speeds
- 360mm ARGB Liquid Cooler
- FSP AEC 750W 80+ Gold power supply
My original plan was for a 5070, but I found this swap more budget-friendly. I'm just looking for some reassurance that everything will work well together!

To be honest, some games can be a bit challenging, like Cyberpunk, where I saw around 70-90 FPS on ultra settings, but overall, it is highly playable. You’ll enjoy a great gaming experience with this build!
No worries! I have a similar setup, and it runs games like Battlefield 6 at about 90-110 FPS on very high settings at 1440p. Totally smooth experience!
For sure! This build will easily handle games at both 1440p and 1080p on high settings. You have solid components that should work great together.
Thanks! I was just worried something would be lacking or there’d be problems I wasn't aware of.
Yeah, you're all set! Those specs are quite powerful, so you shouldn't have any issues with performance.
Absolutely, you'll be able to play everything smoothly. Even with high settings at 1440, you should expect high frame rates. Your GPU and CPU combo is fantastic for gaming.

That's really good to hear, thank you!
