I'm new to Linux and considering a prebuilt PC to run it. Here are the specs: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D CPU, MSI B850 GAMING PLUS WIFI6E motherboard, two Crucial SSDs (1TB and 2TB), a Corsair RM850e PSU, 32GB of Corsair DDR5 RAM, an XFX AMD Radeon 6800 GPU, and a DeepCool AK400 Digital Pro Black CPU cooler. My main concerns are whether the WiFi on the motherboard will work, especially since I need it for internet access, and whether the CPU cooler display and RGB features will function under Linux. I plan to use Bazzite and would appreciate any insights on compatibility issues!

The WiFi might be tricky. I've seen some reports about that board having issues, but many people seem to have it working well. Your GPU will pair perfectly with Linux, especially with Mesa drivers—no extra installs needed! As for RGB, you'll want to do some homework on compatibility; that's usually clearer after buying. The cooler display? Check out this GitHub link—it might need some setup, but it should work! [DeepCool AK400 Digital Config](https://github.com/merturhan/deepcool-ak400-digital-linux)
I have that same motherboard, and AMD setups usually play nice with Linux! You should be fine running Bazzite. Just to be safe, ensure you check that specific WiFi chipworks, though!
I'd recommend checking out forums specific to Bazzite; they might have perfect insights about hardware compatibility. Getting the seller to boot Bazzite on the PC before buying could also clear things up!
Thanks, I'll definitely look into that!
Your rig should run great with Linux, just be cautious about downloading the right version of Bazzite—avoid the Nvidia version since you're all AMD. Bazzite should auto-detect the right drivers! The cooler screen might be a challenge, but other stuff like OpenRGB should be smooth!
Thanks for the heads up! If Bazzite recognizes the drivers automatically, does that mean it will download and install them for me?

Thanks! Does the WiFi work well for you on that board? And how about OpenRGB?
