I'm currently using a gaming PC with an Intel i7-10700K, a Corsair Liquid Cooler, an ASUS Prime Z490-P motherboard, 16GB of Corsair DDR4 RAM, and an RTX 2060 Super. I've had this setup for a while, but it's been struggling with newer games lately and I feel like it's time to upgrade. I want to know if I can improve my performance significantly by switching to a 5060 Ti GPU while keeping my current CPU, RAM, and motherboard. Although I know upgrading the RAM to DDR5 requires a new motherboard and CPU, I don't have the budget for a whole new system right now. Will this GPU upgrade be effective, or will my older CPU and RAM hold me back too much? Thanks!

Yeah, upgrading to the 5060 Ti should definitely boost your performance, especially in games that need a powerful graphics card. Just keep in mind, your older CPU may cause a bit of bottlenecking, so you might not get the absolute best out of the new GPU. But if you're mainly looking to improve your gaming experience, it’s a solid choice!

Thanks for the insights! So, the bottleneck won't make it unusable for gaming? I just want to get a decent boost until I can afford a full upgrade.
