I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 7700X paired with a 4060Ti on a 3440x1440 ultrawide monitor. I'm seeing around 60 FPS, which feels smooth, but I'm aiming for over 100 FPS for a better gaming experience. I'm thinking about upgrading to a 5070Ti, but I'm concerned about whether the 7700X will bottleneck the GPU performance at this resolution. Would love some insights on this!

The difference in performance between your 7700X and top-tier gaming CPUs, like the 9800X3D, is pretty minimal—under 5% at that resolution. So you should be good to go without worrying too much about bottlenecking!
Your 7700X has enough power to keep up with the 5070Ti. Just keep an eye on any upcoming releases, especially if you want the latest and greatest!
Not sure about waiting, though. The new ones might offer more VRAM and a bit of a performance bump, but that could come with increased power consumption and extra money. By the time VRAM needs really change, you might be looking at the next gen anyway. Plus, I see the 5070Ti is already priced lower than MSRP at my local store!
