I recently set up an AWS Organization, and one of my accounts has been part of it since last month. My question is: if AWS gives credits to that account this month, will those credits take effect now or will they only start next month?

From my experience, credits are usually applied as soon as they're available, so you can see them affecting your usage in the billing section. Just remember that they might also have specific terms depending on the type of credit.
Credits kick in from the moment they’re redeemed, but make sure you have credit sharing enabled. Otherwise, they might not apply as you expect.
For the best guidance, I suggest reaching out to AWS Billing support directly for clarification on your credits.
Also, keep in mind the types of credits—some may cover support costs, while others won’t. And watch out for expiration dates!
Generally, if an account that has credits joins an organization, those credits apply starting the next month for the whole organization, unless they were already part of it. Then, it's immediate!
