Looking for a CMS That Works Well with External APIs

I'm exploring content management systems and recently came across Hygraph CMS. It's impressive because it allows integration with external APIs and lets you create your own API alongside your content, which seems like a super straightforward way to handle integrations. However, the pricing for the paid plan is pretty steep, and the free plan lacks this feature. I'm on the lookout for alternative CMS options that can accomplish this without needing to set up a backend myself. Any suggestions?

You might want to consider using Drupal. It's designed specifically for integrating with APIs and has a lot of built-in capabilities to help manage them efficiently. It's definitely solid for this type of task!

What makes Drupal a better choice for this? I've heard mixed things.

Drupal is built with extensibility in mind, so it's great for API work. Plus, the community support is massive!

Have you checked out Directus? It's pretty flexible when it comes to API interactions and hooking up with external services.
