I'm currently hosting my website on an EC2 t2.micro instance, and I'm curious about the best ways to avoid being charged once my free tier usage is up. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

If your website doesn't necessarily need a backend, consider switching to Cloudflare. If you do require a light backend, both Cloudflare and Supabase offer good alternatives that are cost-effective.

Honestly, I think Cloudflare is great for small personal projects. You can do a lot before needing to pay anything, and when I switched, I only had to pay $5 a month after the free tier.

One option is to create a new AWS account to get another year of the free tier. Just remember this is a bit of a hassle, and it isn't a long-term solution.

You might also think about creating another free account with AWS to keep the free tier benefits coming. Just keep in mind you'll be managing multiple accounts.
