Hey everyone! I'm excited to build my first gaming PC and I want to make sure I'm on the right track. I have a budget of about $1500, and I'm mainly playing games like Valorant and Apex Legends. Here's my current parts list, and I'm curious about how well they work together. I'm open to suggestions for better parts that won't significantly raise the cost. Here's what I'm considering:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-14600K 3.5 GHz 14-Core
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 EAGLE AX
- Memory: Silicon Power Value Gaming 32 GB DDR5-6000
- Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 1 TB NVMe SSD
- Video Card: Gigabyte WINDFORCE SFF GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
- Case: Montech XR ATX Mid Tower
- Power Supply: Corsair RM750e (2023) 750 W 80+ Gold Certified
- Case Fan: Thermalright TL-C12C-S X3 120 mm Fans
- Fan Controller: ARCTIC Case Fan Hub
Let me know your thoughts!

Your motherboard and CPU can actually support faster RAM, so if you can splurge just a little, the 6600 CL34 is a great option for only $6 more! Also, I noticed the Crucial P3 Plus SSD is a bit slower compared to other modern options. Upgrading to the WD SN5000 will get you better performance for just a few bucks extra. Lastly, if you want better airflow, consider swapping the Montech XR case for the Montech Air 903.
