I've been having internet issues for several months now. It started off small with my AT&T router (not fiber), which worked well for years, but then it began experiencing intermittent cutouts lasting anywhere from 3 to 20 seconds. I tried fixing it myself, but nothing worked, so I switched to T-Mobile's 5G Home internet. Initially, it was okay, but the problems returned and got progressively worse, until it felt like it was cutting out every second! I switched back to AT&T but upgraded to fiber, and while the disconnects are shorter now (2 to 4 seconds), they're still bad. I'm confident the issue isn't within my house since I've tried everything I can here. I really need some help figuring out what could be wrong and if there's anything I can do to resolve it!

You’ve done well switching ISPs and routers, but since the issue persists, there’s likely something wrong outside your home. It could be faulty wiring or interference in your area, or maybe a problem at the utility box on the street. It might be worth contacting your ISP for a line check or getting a technician to look at it. Also, using something like PingPlotter can help demonstrate the dropouts and show that it’s not on your end, which could push them to help more effectively!
It sounds like a lot of frustration! Could you check if the issue happens on all your devices or just the PC/phone you're using for Discord? Sometimes an old or defective internet card might be part of the problem. I'd suggest running a speed test on different devices to see if the connection's stable. Since the providers have changed, it may also help to try using an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi to see if that helps. The consistent factor seems to be your device, so it's important to rule that out.
I’ve tried it on all devices and the connection seems to drop everywhere. I haven’t tested with Ethernet yet, but I plan to. The speeds look fine on tests, but they kick me out during games or Discord calls, which is super annoying. My phone’s okay for YouTube but still not great for Wi-Fi calls.
