Hey everyone! I'm working in real estate and I have a ton of high-quality photos, which is great for showcasing properties, but they really slow down my website, especially when listings have 10-16 images. I'm looking for some advice on a few things: 1) What's the ideal image size for web? 2) Any good compression tools you recommend for reducing image file sizes? 3) What other tips do you have to speed up my site? 4) Is Google Lighthouse a good tool for checking loading times?

For compressing images, Tinyjpg works wonders. You could name your files with a '-b' identifier and compare them in a large window to see how much quality is retained. Definitely try it out!
Check out Shortpixel, TinyPNG, or Squoosh for compressing your images. Also, using Lazy loading, a CDN, and caching can boost your site’s performance. Don't forget that a good hosting provider can make a significant difference too!
