I recently built my first PC, but I'm having trouble getting a display. The VGA light is glowing red, and while it sometimes boots into the BIOS, my monitor goes to sleep. I've tried reseating the RAM in every possible slot and reconnecting the GPU multiple times. I've also cleared the CMOS cache, but nothing seems to work. I'm still dealing with the red VGA light and a lack of display. Here are my PC specs:
- GPU: RX 7600XT
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 8400F
- Motherboard: B650 Eagle AX
- RAM: Kingston Fury 16GB (2x8GB)
- Storage: A hard drive and a SATA SSD (names unknown)

Hey! It sounds like a frustrating situation. First off, can you tell us what power supply you’re using? That can definitely affect the GPU's performance.
Just a heads-up, make sure that your GPU is properly seated and that all the power connectors are plugged in. Since you're using the AMD Ryzen 5 8400F, remember it doesn’t have integrated graphics, so your GPU needs to be firmly in place for displaying anything.
I've checked that, and the GPU is in place with the fans spinning, but still no display.
I'm using an MSI MAG A750GL 750 watt power supply.
