Tips for Optimizing My New AMD Build on Linux

I've recently built my first high-end AMD rig and I'm running Linux on it, which is a new experience for me since I've usually used more basic setups. My build includes a Ryzen 7 9700X, an RX 9070 XT, 64GB of DDR5-6200 RAM, and two 1TB NVMe drives. I'm planning to use Arch Linux with the i3 window manager mostly for development work and some gaming at 1440p. I want to ensure that my system is configured correctly for both performance and stability, specifically focusing on the right drivers for my GPU and CPU, as well as making sure tuning features like amd-pstate are enabled. I'm looking for tips or pointers to make sure nothing is running below its potential as I tune the system.

If you're unsure about tuning, you might want to try CachyOS. It’s based on Arch and automates a lot of performance settings for you. Plus, their documentation on power plans is pretty solid. For stress testing, OCCT for Linux is a great tool to check stability once you've set everything up.
