Hey everyone! I'm currently on Windows 10 and planning to upgrade to Windows 11 soon. To ensure I don't lose any data during the upgrade, I want to clone my M.2 drive onto a regular SSD. I'm looking for recommendations on programs that are good for cloning drives. Thanks in advance!

If you go with Robocopy, you can use the command line to mirror your folders. Just type 'Robocopy /?' in CMD to check out the available options. But keep in mind it has a bit of a learning curve with all the switches, so you might need to look up some guides.
It’s a good idea to back up before the upgrade! You could try Clonezilla; it’s free and works well for disk cloning. There are also paid options like Acronis or Macrium Reflect if you want more features. If you just need your files and don’t care about booting from the clone, Robocopy is included with Windows and can do that too.
Honestly, starting fresh with a new M.2 drive is a great plan. Grab a USB drive and copy over the drivers from your old system first. Then, you can create a Windows 11 installation USB directly from Microsoft. Just keep your old drive disconnected during the installation to avoid overwriting anything.
