Hey everyone! I'm currently a summer intern and I stumbled upon an iPad Pro 2 that looks brand new. The issue is that it used to belong to a person who no longer works at the company, and I can't access the Apple account linked to it since their work email is disabled now. I know the associated phone number, but that's also out of commission. I've talked to Apple Support and they won't help without a proof of purchase, but our company doesn't keep records for that long. My boss said I could keep the iPad if I manage to fix it. Is there any way to hard reset this iPad without being locked out of the Apple account? Could I try going to one of those kiosks at the mall for help?

Have you tried recreating an email account with the same address? Sometimes it might let you reset it or at least start the recovery process, although I guess that only applies if it's a personal email.
That’s a tricky situation. I don’t think you can since that email is owned by the company, and it’s a company domain.
