How Long Does It Take to Get Good at HTML and CSS?

I'm trying to figure out how long it typically takes to become proficient in HTML and CSS. By 'good', I mean being able to create a landing page that looks polished enough that nobody can spot any mistakes. I have about 2-3 weeks of experience and just completed my first project. I can almost replicate designs from Figma, but I still need to learn media queries. I want to start building websites for a few friends who need simple sites, and I understand that HTML and CSS should be sufficient for their needs. Should I focus on getting really good at HTML and CSS before diving into JavaScript? Also, is it possible to reach that level of proficiency within 2 months?

Getting passable with HTML and CSS could take just an afternoon or two of serious practice. But becoming good—where you feel confident with your work—might take weeks or even months of dedicated tinkering and debugging. It really depends on how much time you put into it and what resources you're using. But don't stress too much, you'll get there!

Totally agree! Just remember that even after years, there's always something new to learn.
