Help! Isopropyl Alcohol Got Inside My Phone – What Do I Do Now?

Hey everyone, I accidentally spilled some Isopropyl alcohol on a family member's phone while cleaning, and it seeped inside through the screen. Now I'm seeing a dark tint on the bottom left of the screen, and shortly after that, the phone just died and won't turn on. I've put the phone in a warm spot hoping to dry it out, but I'm not sure what else to do. Any advice on how to fix this situation?

It’s good that you’re trying to dry it out! Isopropyl alcohol evaporates relatively quickly, but it’s best if you can give it some time to fully dry. Just keep it in a warm, dry place for a few days. If it still doesn’t turn on afterward, you might want to consider taking it to a professional for repair.

Yeah, it’s important to let it dry completely before trying to power it on again. If it's been a few days and it still doesn't work, definitely think about getting it checked out.
