Need Advice on Choosing a Hard Drive for an Acer GX-781

Hey everyone! I recently got an Acer GX-781 from a family member, but it didn't come with a hard drive. I'm not sure what type of hard drive I should be looking for, or if there are specific specs I need to consider. The PC is a bit older, so I doubt it can handle the latest games like Genshin Impact, but I'd love to play something lighter like The Sims. I'm pretty much a newbie in this area, so any advice would really help! By the way, English isn't my first language, so sorry if I've used any incorrect terms!

Any SATA drive should work fine for your setup. If you opt for a 2.5" SATA SSD, they're not as common but still available. It's a solid choice if you want better performance over a traditional HDD.

I recommend going for an SSD instead of just a hard drive. Most PCs from the last 20 years can easily support 2.5" SATA SSDs. Just check if your model can handle M.2 NVMe SSDs if you're looking for something faster, though.

Thanks for the suggestion! What do you think about this Kingston NV3 PCIe 4.0 NVMe 1 TB M.2 SSD? It looks like a match for what was in there before...
