I have a Super Flower Leadex ATX 3.1 power supply with a 10-pin connector, but my motherboard has an 8+4 pin connector for power. Is there any way I can make this work? I'm a bit confused about the compatibility and what I should do in this situation.

The problem here is that PSU connectors aren't standardized, so compatibility can vary quite a bit. It’s really important to only use cables designed for your specific power supply. For example, Be Quiet power supplies have their own unique 5-pin and 10-pin connectors. You're going to want to stick to what's intended for your unit to avoid any issues.

The 10-pin configuration is a niche standard that primarily supplies 12V to the motherboard, unlike the 24-pin which delivers multiple voltages. Gamers Nexus recently discussed a similar situation in a video about Alienware PCs. You might want to double-check where your 8+4 pin connector is located on the board—maybe some images could clarify! That way, we can figure out the best solution together.
