Hey everyone! I just built my first gaming PC, and it's a pretty high-end setup, but I'm facing a frustrating issue: every game I play has a lot of stuttering. For instance, I downloaded Valorant yesterday, and even though my average FPS is around 650, my 0.1% and 1% low frame rates drop to between 20 and 60. I'm really puzzled about what's going wrong. I've tried various troubleshooting steps, including keeping all my drivers updated, reinstalling Windows, and enabling EXPO, but nothing seems to help. Here are my specs:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7800x3d
- GPU: RX 9070XT
- RAM: PATRIOT VIPER VENOM 2x16GB 6400MHz CL32 (EXPO ACTIVATED)
- PSU: MSI MAG 850W
- STORAGE: 2TB G2 EXCERIA NVME
- MB: GIGABYTE B650 EAGLE AX

Your specs are solid, but make sure your GPU drivers are fully compatible with your games. Sometimes, the latest drivers can cause more issues than they solve. You might want to try rolling back to a previous version of the drivers and see if that helps!
It sounds like you might be experiencing some stutter due to frame timing issues. Have you checked for background processes that could be hogging resources while you're gaming? Also, make sure your power settings are set to high performance in Windows, as that can help reduce stutter as well.
Thanks for the tip! I'll check my power settings and see if there's anything running in the background.

Good idea! I'll give that a shot and see if it makes a difference.
