I just upgraded my power supply to a Corsair RM1000x for a new video card, but none of the 12 cables it came with fit the 12V processor power connector on my motherboard, the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite. Does anyone know the name of the specific cable or connector type I should be looking for? I'm hoping to find a modular cable that works, or should I consider getting a different power supply? I can't attach a picture, but you can find the pin configuration on page 16 of the manual linked here: [manual](https://download.gigabyte.com/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_x570-aorus-elite-wifi_1002_e_v1.pdf).

Don't stress too much about it! Most ATX connections are made to fit even if they don't match perfectly at first glance. Your PSU likely has a 4+4 EPS connector which can work with dual 4-pin headers. That's standard for backward compatibility!
It's totally fine to feel that way. If the connectors look like they fit, go for it!
It sounds like you'll need an EPS 12V connector for your CPU power. Those typically have a double 4-pin configuration that can be split, so check the cables for that. If your power supply has a label that says 'CPU', you should be good to go!
Yep, I think you're on the right track. Just make sure the pins align properly, and you should be able to plug it in without any issues.
If you're still unsure, you could always trace the wires if you have a diagram at hand. It could help you figure it out!

Thanks for the reassurance! I'm just a bit rusty with all this wiring, but I'll give it a shot.
