I'm considering between the RTX 5070 Ti and the RX 9070 XT for my new setup. The 5070 Ti is priced at €770, while the 9070 XT is available for €655. Based on the benchmarks I've checked, their performance is pretty similar, with the 5070 Ti only being slightly ahead in some cases. Given that I'm using a 1440p 144Hz monitor, do you think the extra €115 for the 5070 Ti is justified, or should I just go for the 9070 XT?

At that price point, I'd go for the 5070 Ti if you can stretch your budget. It's really a better choice overall unless you're primarily doing gaming and want to save some cash for other upgrades or games. The 9070 XT is still a great card though!
For €115 more, I would say skip the 5070 Ti. The 9070 XT is a beast for 1440p gaming! Honestly, if gaming is your main goal, that extra cash could go towards a summer sale on Steam instead! By the way, where did you find the 9070 XT for that price?
Honestly, the 5070 Ti is a solid choice. It has less power consumption and handles overclocking really well. But whether you want to spend that extra money is up to you. If you're used to AMD's software, the 9070 XT should be fine. Otherwise, Nvidia might be more comfortable for you.
It's true, you can get good performance for less with the 9070 XT, but the features and future proofing of the 5070 Ti make it worth considering.
In my opinion, the 5070 Ti offers better ray tracing and has a more robust feature set, which justifies the price difference if you're into that sort of thing. You'll end up with more longevity and support for future titles which is a big plus.
If you're just gaming, the 9070 XT is the way to go. Sure, the 5070 Ti has better features like DLSS without the hassle of setting it up, but if saving €115 is more important to you, stick with the AMD card. I needed the savings for my PSU upgrade, and I have no regrets!
I found it in a local store in Latvia! The deal is only available if you purchase it through a company, so taxes are avoided.
