Looking for a Budget-Friendly Graphics Card

Hey everyone! I just got a PC from a friend, but it's equipped with a pretty outdated Radeon 5750 from around 2010, and it can't handle any games at all. I'm hoping to find a graphics card that's super affordable—ideally around $100—so I can at least run Red Dead Redemption 2 on low settings. Any suggestions?

What are the specs of the rest of your PC? If it’s from around 2010, the CPU might also be a bottleneck.

The rest of my PC is pretty updated; I just ended up with this old graphics card. I might just save up for something better.

1070 Ti still runs pretty well in 2025! You can snag one on eBay for around $100. It might be a solid option if it's available.

Those are good suggestions! Also consider the RX 580 8GB; it’s a good performer for the price. Just keep an eye out for deals!

You could look into a used GTX 1660 Super—I've seen them for about $99 on eBay, and that should be a decent upgrade for you!

Honestly, for $100, you’re mostly looking at GPUs that are 7 to 10 years old. If you can save up $350-$400, you could get something really decent that’ll last!

That’s true, but for just playing RDR2 at reasonable frame rates on low settings, a budget option might suffice for now.
