How Can I Add Music to a Memorial Website Without Running into Copyright Issues?

I'm trying to design a memorial website for a friend who recently passed away, and I'd love to include some music that really reflects their spirit. I've purchased the music I want to use, but I'm facing some roadblocks due to digital copyright protections. I heard that since it's for non-commercial use, I might be okay, but I'm worried about the legal side of things. Do I really need to obtain permission from each copyright owner, and if so, will they provide a usable digital copy? I'm considering dropping the music idea because it feels too complicated, but it would mean a lot to have those personal touches on the website.

Look into royalty-free music or services like Epidemic Sound and Artlist, which offer non-commercial licenses. If you're set on a specific song, you might need to contact the copyright holder for permission. Instrumental tracks could also be a great alternative!
